The scientific name of LSB board is also known as veneerable directional particleboard.
LSB board is an upgraded version of OSB board, which improves the surface paving process of OSB board, making the board surface more flat and more suitable for decoration. LSB board is widely used in: overall wardrobe, cabinet, TV cabinet, shoe cabinet, bathroom cabinet, wine cabinet, office furniture, etc. It is a substitute for Blockboard (easy to deform) and plywood.
Advantages of LSB board:
1. Good stability, not easy to deform, good structural performance.
2. Super nail grip.
3. Moisture proof, anti-corrosion, anti termite.
Differences between OSB board and LSB board:
1. The sizes of chips used are different: OSB board has large chips and LSB board has small chips.
2. The flatness of the surface layer is different: the surface layer of the general OSB board is uneven because of the large chips. The LSB board is to improve the OSB surface chips into smaller chips, so that the flatness of the finished board is good.
3. The launch time is different: OSB board was launched in the 1970s, and LSB board has just started to be applied in recent years, the key is 17 years later.
OSB material:
OSB board is a kind of directional structural board made of small-diameter wood, thinning wood and wood core, which is processed by special equipment into long planing pieces (generally 40-100mm long, 5-20mm wide and 0.3-0.7mm thick), and then degreased, dried, sizing, directional paving, hot pressing and other processes.
Its surface plane is arranged longitudinally, and its core plane is arranged laterally. This crisscross arrangement reorganizes the wood texture structure and completely eliminates the influence of wood internal stress on processing, making it extremely easy to process and moisture-proof. Because OSB is an oriented structure with no joints, cracks, cracks, good overall uniformity, and extremely high internal bonding strength, both the center and the edge have super strong nail holding ability that ordinary plates cannot match.
